Director of Information Technology
We’re pleased to share that the Global Methodist Church is now accepting applications for the position of Director of Information Technology.
This strategic leadership role oversees the design, development, and ongoing support of the GMC’s technology systems, ensuring they effectively serve our mission, ministry, and connectional structure. The Director of IT will blend mature leadership, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of the GMC’s organizational values and structure to bring excellence to the GMC and all IT-related areas.
Minimum qualifications include:

Bachelor’s degree required (master’s preferred)

Minimum of 10 years of experience in the IT sector

Demonstrated leadership experience, ideally within a complex or multi-stakeholder organization

Experience in software architecture, application development, and systems design

Broad technical background, including low-code platforms and SQL-based systems
-
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
-
A clear understanding of and commitment to the mission, doctrine, and values of the Global Methodist Church
