As we enter this season of Thanksgiving, I cannot help but have a grateful heart for what God is growing across our Conference. I pray that when we see what the Lord is doing that it helps fuel the desire to keep our hand to the plow for the work still ahead. Because there is much work to be done!
Nominate Vision Carriers
We’re praying for 1–3 Vision Carriers per district — faithful laity who will help champion the multiplication vision of Every Church Plants. Vision Carriers meet with the Multiplication Team Leader to share the vision within their districts, encourage prayer and discernment in their churches, and help shape our future as a multiplying Conference.
If you know someone in your church who carries a heart to see souls saved, lives transformed, and the Kingdom multiplied, nominate them using the link in this newsletter. Or, if as a layperson you sense that call, please volunteer. Your step of obedience could ignite a spark that spreads far beyond your local congregation. Form Link
Take an Honest Assessment
Every congregation is invited to take part in a Self-Led Church Assessment to help pastors and leaders discern their current health and missional readiness.
Download the PDF using the link below. Pastors, have your leadership team complete it individually, then gather to compare and discuss. Laity, take the assessment and share your response with your pastor and/or leadership group. This honest assessment is intended to help guide prayerful discernment as your church prepares for 2026 vision and direction. Assessment Link
Give Thanks
We have much for which to be thankful!
Many of our New Church Starts are growing, reaching unreached people and raising up new disciples. There are leaders stepping up in local congregations: laity responding in faith to become Certified Lay Ministers; some are starting new ministries that focus on transforming their communities for Christ; and even churches who are equipping disciples to make disciples and be multiplied across a community because they know it is more fruitful to be leveraged in growing the Kingdom of God than it is to be large.
Remember: our congregations are to be outposts for missionaries to be encouraged, equipped, and deployed - not places to hide from the world. We are to operate as rivers, not lakes! We gather to send, not to hold back!
Lord, open our eyes to what You are doing and may our observation compel us into participation, joining You in seeing souls saved, disciples multiplied, and communities transformed in your name.
