As America celebrates 250 years of Independence, let us pray for our Nation.
Almighty God, we praise and worship You. Thank You for the Cross and the empty Tomb, which reveal Your forgiveness, grace, love, and power.
Merciful God, forgive us where we have fallen short; we have committed iniquity and rebelled. Please, Father, heal our divisions and strengthen our Nation so that we may be faithful to You.
As America celebrates 250 years of Independence, we thank You for all You have done; Your guidance, protection, and blessings through triumphs and trials. Thank you, Lord, for the privilege of living in this country where we have freedom to worship You openly. May we never take this privilege for granted, but rather have a deeper love for You.
Lord, protect our Presidents and all leaders, and grant them Your wisdom, courage, and humility in the areas of government, family, religion, education, media, entertainment, security, and business. Help America, Lord, to walk in integrity, compassion, and reverence for You alone as the light to the world as we prepare for Your coming.
Father, You alone are our hope and our future. Wake us up, Lord! Blow, blow, Holy Spirit, blow, from the four corners as we entrust America into Your hands for the next great 250 years. "Show us Your glory, Lord, and America will prevail for Your glory. Amen!
