meaningful and spirit-led time together during our EARLY BIRD BREAKOUT: FRIDAY, JUNE 13 AT 1:30!

On Saturday, March 29, the Clarinda Methodist Women in Mission sponsored a Women’s meeting “Anxiety and Self-Care.” Pastor Carla Johnson from Watertown, South Dakota came to present the information. Thirty-nine women came, some from Global Methodist Churches nearby and others from different denominations in the area. There was a good group, and people were eager and willing to share their feelings about anxiety and self-care. We used a feelings wheel and learned that “fine” is not a feeling. Pastor Carla was a great speaker and had numerous stories to share. The meeting was enjoyed by all. Pastor Carla’s presentation can be seen on the Clarinda Methodist Church Facebook page. It is great for the family of God to get together and share. I hope other women’s groups in our Upper Midwest Global Methodist Church will have other meetings and gatherings so that we can share in ministry together.

Rejoice! is looking forward to a time to gather together at Annual Conference. During our gathering we will be looking at ways we can follow the Holy Spirit's guidance as we seek to participate in what God is doing in our communities. We look forward to sharing more in the next newsletter.
